Multiple sources have indicated to Sportscar365 and Endurance-Info that the popular open-wheel series are likely to be added to the Nov. 19-21 weekend as a replacement to the F1 Grand Prix of Germany.
Bahrain has played host to pre-season testing as well as the opening round of GP2 in recent years.
Both open-wheel championships, meanwhile, will conclude their 2015 seasons one week later at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, supporting F1.
An announcement is expected to be made in the coming weeks.
