Nissan has both its LMP1 challenger and one of its new concept cars on display at this week’s Chicago Auto Show.

The Nissan GT-R LM NISMO makes its public debut at the auto show this week, after it was launched during the “With Dad” Super Bowl ad earlier this month. The auto show is open to the public from February 14-22.

Nissan also had the car on hand at an auto show kickoff party held Thursday night.

Beyond the LMP1 car, Nissan also took the wraps off its new 370Z Roadster Concept car, which removes the hardtop from the standard 370Z.

The 370Z Roadster Concept offers unique engine, suspension, exterior and interior features versus standard Nissan 370Z Roadster models, including a 350-horsepower 3.7-liter V6 and NISMO-tuned suspension. More information is linked here via Nissan’s website.

No other motorsports announcements were made during Thursday’s press conference.

Some of the notables on hand from Nissan included NISMO’s global head of brand, marketing & sales, Darren Cox, new LMP1 driver Jann Mardenborough and two of Mardenborough’s former Nissan GT Academy-winning colleagues, in Steve Doherty and Nic Hammann.
