Akkodis ASP Team is down to a single Lexus RC F GT3 for Sunday’s 6 Hours of Sao Paulo following a weekend-ending accident for Arnold Robin in Free Practice 1.

Robin lost control of the No. 78 Lexus midway through the originally scheduled 90-minute session before making heavy contact with the Turn 4 barriers.

The Bronze-rated Frenchman was evaluated and released at a local hospital and is en route back to the circuit, per a FIA World Endurance Championship spokesperson.

However, co-driver Kelvin van der Linde confirmed to Sportscar365 that the there’s “no chance to continue” this weekend with the car sustaining irreparable damage. It’s understood the French squad does not have a spare chassis on-site.

Robin and van der Linde were due to share the LMGT3 entry with Clemens Schmid, who has replaced Timur Boguslavskiy in the team’s lineup.
