The No. 8 Toyota TS050 Hybrid of Kazuki Nakajima leads teammate Jose Maria Lopez, after a 33-minute red flag period for track visibility.
The race resumed with 4 hours and 9 minutes left on the clock, initially behind the safety car for one lap, with leader Earl Bamber having pitted his No. 2 Porsche 919 Hybrid for its first pit stop of the race.
The No. 31 Vaillante Rebellion Oreca 07 Gibson of Bruno Senna continues to lead LMP2 with two hours complete, while Stefan Muecke (No. 66 Ford GT) and Weng Sun Mok (No. 61 Clearwater Racing Ferrari 488 GTE) pace the production-based ranks.
