Toyota has announced its Hypercar lineups for the 2025 FIA World Endurance Championship season, with no changes to its six-driver roster from this year.

The Japanese marque confirmed the crews for its pair of GR010 Hybrids on Wednesday, just over a week on from clinching the world manufacturers’ title in Bahrain.

Kamui Kobayashi, Mike Conway and Nyck de Vries will go into their second season as a trio in the No. 7 car, while Sebastien Buemi, Ryo Hirakawa and Brendon Hartley will pilot the sister No. 8 Toyota for a fourth consecutive campaign.

Kobayashi and de Vries finished as Toyota’s highest-placed representatives in the drivers’ standings, scoring a single victory in the 6 Hours of Imola and two further podiums, including second in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

Buemi, Hirakawa and Hartley took wins at Sao Paulo and Bahrain, the latter allowing Toyota to beat Porsche in the battle for the manufacturers’ title.

Team principal Kobayashi commented: “We have a top driver line-up in both cars, and I am happy to be part of it again in 2025.

“The team spirit and cooperation among all the drivers, and the team in general, grows with every race and every season. Thanks to the great support of everyone at Toyota, as well as our partners, we have enjoyed some good results this year, but we are determined to achieve more.

“Competing in the Hypercar category in WEC is a big challenge and we are fighting against very strong competition, but as a team we continuously push ourselves to perform even better at every event.

“I expect this to continue next season, with a consistent line-up of drivers who understand how to work together – as a driver crew, as team members and as part of the Toyota family – to succeed in endurance racing.

“I know the whole team is excited by the challenge in 2025.”

Toyota’s announcement did not make any mention of whether Ritomo Miyata will continue in the reserve driver role, with the Japanese youngster looking set to spend the 2025 season focusing largely on single-seaters.
