Creventic has released the provisional entry list for the 21st running of the Michelin 24H Dubai, headlined by a 40-car GT3 field.
In total, nine manufacturers make up the GT3 class, which has grown significantly compared to the 31 cars that contested the race in the top category earlier this year.
Defending winners Team WRT will return with a pair of BMW M4 GT3 EVOs, joined in the BMW camp by the Darren Leung-led Paradine Competition squad.
The British team enjoyed a fruitful debut at the event last year, taking both pole position and the class victory in GT3-Am last January.
“It feels fantastic to be heading back to the Creventic 24H Dubai,” Leung said.
“Last year’s class win was a huge moment for everyone at Paradine Competition and a great way to start our season.
We’ve learned a lot since then, and we’re coming back even stronger for 2026.
“I can’t wait to share our driver line-up soon, it’s shaping up to be something really special.”
Porsche and Mercedes-AMG are tied with the most cars, as both brands are represented by 12 entries on the entry list released Thursday.
Porsche, which is the most successful manufacturer at the event with six outright victories, will be represented by nine different squads.
Pure Rxcing, which started this year’s edition from overall pole and went on to finish second, returns. Herberth Motorsport is also back with a three-car effort, while the likes of Car Collection Motorsport, Lionspeed GP, Dinamic GT, Huber Motorsport and Earl Bamber Motorsport are also on the grid.
Mercedes-AMG’s bid for a first 24H Dubai victory since 2020 will be spearheaded by two-car efforts from Winward Racing and Team Motopark.
Team Parker Racing switches brands after entering a Bentley Continental GT3 the previous two years, while RedAnt Racing fields a single Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo for Ajith Kumar as part of what is understood to be a full season Michelin 24H Series effort for the Indian movie star.
Grove Racing is also set to return to the event after a one-year absence, with the team built around the father-and-son duo of Stephen and Brenton Grove receiving support from GetSpeed Performance.
Audi, which won the event as recently as 2024, is represented by five cars from HAAS RT, Tresor Attempto Racing, Sainteloc Junior Team and Continental Racing by Simpson Motorsport.
Dragon Racing, which is based locally at the Dubai Autodrome, has entered a pair of Ferrari 296 GT3s, joined by Czech squad Scuderia Praha as part of a three-car effort from the Prancing Horse.
Optimum Motorsport has entered two McLaren 720S GT3 Evo, while Haupt Racing Team will give the Ford Mustang GT3 its event debut.
The GT3 field is rounded out by a single Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo from Comtoyou Racing as well as a Leipert Motorsport-entered Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2, which was added to the entry list in the hours after its original release according to a Creventic spokesperson.
The GT4 class, meanwhile, consists of five cars, with two Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVOs, one Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS CS and a pair of BMWs.
KCMG and Rookie Racing have both also entered Toyota GT4 cars, although they will compete in the TCE category running under a detuned specification that has been designated as ‘B Spec.’
The 21st running of the 24H Dubai will take place on Jan. 16-18.
