The American drivers were confirmed by MRS GT-Racing at Dubai, where the team has entered two Porsche 991 Cup cars for this weekend’s Hankook 24 Hours of Dubai.

Putman spent time in hospital with serious injuries, following an ATV accident in September, but he has recovered and will now return to competition in the 24H Series.

Putman and Espenlaub’s teammate at MRS GT-Racing is still to be announced by the German-run team.

MRS GT-Racing also confirmed plans to enter a car in the new GT Sports Club series, organized by SRO Motorsports Group, while a Blancpain Endurance Series entry is another possibility being considered.

The team ran a McLaren MP4-12C GT3 in recent years, although no decision has been made on what car will be entered in the SRO series.
