The date of the ninth edition of the FIA GT World Cup, which will again take place in Macau, has been set for next year.
Confirmed in Wednesday’s FIA World Motor Sport Council meeting in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, the GT3 sprint race is scheduled for Nov. 19-22, 2026.
The event, which is subject to circuit homologation, will again be held on the famous Guia Circuit. While a full weekend package has yet to be announced, the FIA also confirmed Wednesday that the FIA TCR World Tour will again be part of the weekend.
Ferrari’s Antonio Fuoco broke through to claim a maiden victory for both he and the Italian manufacturer in this year’s edition, which was held one week earlier in the calendar.
Last month’s event also marked the introduction of a new ‘Super Pole’ format, which has been widely received by drivers and manufacturers.
