Driving Force Events has released the full, 20-car entry list for the Gulf 12 Hours, with a grid made up of five different GT3 manufacturers.
Defending winners Audi are joined by cars from Ferrari, McLaren, Mercedes-AMG and Porsche for the 15th edition of the event at Yas Marina Circuit.
Mercedes-AMG is the best represented brand at the event with seven entries, spearheaded by the likes of Winward Racing, Grove Racing by GetSpeed and Tigani Motorsport.
Team Motopark has entered a single car under the CapitalRT by Motopark banner, headlined by Mercedes-AMG factory driver Adam Christodoulou and former LMP1 and NTT IndyCar Series driver Mikhail Aleshin.
TFT Racing, which took overall pole in this year’s Michelin 24H Barcelona, has enlisted Nürburgring 24 podium finisher Nico Bastian to drive its No. 28 Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo alongside Patrick Charlaix, Benjamin Paque and Jordan Boisson.
Mercedes-AMG’s presence at the event is rounded out by MP Racing, with the Italian squad returning with the family lineup of Thomas, Manuela, Corina and David Gostner.
A five-car Porsche contingent is headlined by last year’s overall pole sitters Herberth Motorsport with its No. 7 911 GT3 R for Ralf Bohn and Alfred and Robert Renauer.
The German squad is joined by Razoon – More than Racing, whose entry features Verstappen dot com Racing protege Thierry Vermeulen joined by Simon Birch, former European Le Mans Series LMP2 racer Niels Koolen and Richard Wolf.
Car Collection Motorsport, Enrico Fulgenzi Racing and Tsunami RT all also field single-car entries, with the latter’s lineup featuring newly minted Iron Lynx LMGT3 driver Johannes Zelger.
Dragon Racing fields a pair of Ferrari 296 GT3s, including one for a newly announced alliance between the Prancing Horse and Al Manar Racing, while Inception Racing and Pellin Racing also represent the Italian manufacturer.
The grid is rounded out by HAAS RT’s two-car Audi effort and a pair of McLaren 720S GT3 Evos for Optimum Motorsport and Garage 59.
The GTX1 category, which was created for single-make cars from Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren and Porsche, has not attracted any entries.
