Lamborghini’s new Evo package for its Huracan GT3 has been spied ahead of an expected 2019 debut.
The Italian manufacturer was spotted testing last week at Monza with what appears to be an upgraded GT3 car, featuring new aero, primarily on the nose, as well as other elements.
A number of styling characteristics appear to have been influenced from the Super Trofeo Evo, which launched this year for its single-make championships.
While Lamborghini has not yet officially confirmed plans to produce an Evo, next year will be the final opportunity to do so within the car’s current homologation window.
The Huracan GT3 made its debut in 2015 and is considered one of the most popular GT3 models on the market, with more than 70 cars produced and sold worldwide.
It has also racked up numerous championships and milestone victories since its full customer rollout in 2016, including recent class wins in both the Rolex 24 at Daytona and Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, as well as the Blancpain GT Series title last year.
