Lamborghini Squadra Corse gave the new Lamborghini Huracán GT3 its first test at the Vallelunga circuit on Monday.
Adrian Zaugg and Fabio Babini, the two official Lamborghini Squadra Corse test drivers, drove the Huracán GT3 on the circuit near Rome.
The new GT3 racer, which has been developed in-house with support of Dallara Automobili, is set to make its debut in the Blancpain Endurance Series in 2015 and in races in North America and Asia beginning in 2016.
“I’m pretty much satisfied with this first test of the new Huracán GT3,” said Lamborghini chief test driver Giorgio Sanna.
“We still have plenty of work to do to be ready for the upcoming season, but performance and reliability feedback is encouraging.”
“I have no doubt that this car will more than hold its own in international GT3 competitions.”
