Mercedes’ new GT3 contender is set for its race debut next month, as the German manufacturer has confirmed the Mercedes-AMG GT3 will take part in the upcoming VLN round at the Nürburgring.
Bernd Schneider, Thomas Jaeger and Jan Seyffarth will pilot the works-entered car in the 46th Adenauer ADAC World Peace Trophy on July 4.
It comes following months of testing and development for the successor to the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3.
Customer deliveries of the car are expected to begin later this year, ahead of the 2016 season.
