Multiple Cars Lose Weight in Pre-Race BoP Adjustment

The BMW M4 GT3 EVO, Ford Mustang GT3 and Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo have received weight reductions as part of a pre-race Balance of Performance adjustment for the Nürburgring 24, while the Porsche 911 GT3 R has been hit with a weight increase.

Communicated via a bulletin issued by stewards on Saturday morning, both the BMW and Ford will have their minimum weight reduced by ten kilograms.

The BMW, has gone from 1355 to 1345 kgs while the Ford, which makes its N24 debut, has had its minimum weight revised to 1320 kilograms.

The Mercedes-AMG has received a slightly smaller, five kilogram reduction and now sits at 1335 kgs.

The Porsche, which captured pole position on Friday in the hands of Kevin Estre, has been given five extra kilograms and now weighs 1325 kgs.

Meanwhile the Aston Martin Vantage GT3, both in its Evo and non-Evo specification, has been given more boost pressure in the 4000-5250 rpm rev range.
