Barwell Motorsport has revealed the full lineup for its second Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo which it will enter in the Silver Cup of the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup.
Sandy Mitchell will return to the car for a second season but with new teammates in James Pull and Jordan Witt.
Pull joins the team after having success in various Lamborghini Super Trofeo series, while Witt had four Blancpain GT starts with GT Sport Motul Team RJN last season.
Last year, Mitchell co-drove with Michele Beretta and Martin Kodric who finished third in the Silver Cup championship after taking the class win in the Paul Ricard 1000 km.
“We are very happy to welcome rising stars James Pull and Jordan Witt on board, and with them joining Sandy we will once again have a crew capable of challenging for race victories and the Silver Cup title,” commented team principal Mark Lemmer.
The team confirmed in October that it would again run two Lamborghinis in the Endurance Cup this season, with the Silver Cup car joined by reigning Am Cup champions Leo Machitski and Adrian Amstutz.
Barwell’s testing program will get underway at Portimao next month ahead of the pre-season Blancpain GT test at Circuit Paul Ricard in March.
