Daiko Lazarus Racing and Ombra Racing have both confirmed returns to the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup with Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evos.
The two Italian teams both ran previous-gen Lamborghinis in the championship last season, and will upgrade to the 2019-spec car for the upcoming campaign which kicks off at Monza in April.
Daiko Lazarus will run Fabrizio Crestani, Nicolas Pohler and touring car standout Kris Richard in a Silver Cup entry.
“With Kris we’ve got a quick driver joining Fabrizio and Nici to gain the best possible results in this competitive series,” said team principal Tancredi Pagiaro.
Ombra Racing is yet to finalize its driver lineup but is also set to run an all-Silver lineup with a Huracan GT3 Evo.
The Bergamo-based team will also enter a Pro car in the International GT Open after finishing fourth in the teams’ standings last year.
“2019 is an important year for us: not many teams can celebrate 25 years of history and we are of proud of this achievement,” said team manager Davide Mazzoleni.
“We come from a solid season on both technical and sporting side, closed in good style in Barcelona, and we want to start from there.
“We are aware that the new Huracan Evo will require dedicated development, but we have a very high-level team ready to start working.”
