Robert Kubica will remain with AF Corse’s third-string Ferrari 499P in the FIA World Endurance Championship next year, the Italian squad confirmed on Thursday ahead of tomorrow’s 2025 entry list reveal.
The Polish driver, who had initially been exploring different opportunities before leaning to remain with the Hypercar team for 2025, will continue for a second consecutive season alongside Yifei Ye, with new signing Phil Hanson replacing the departed Robert Shwartzman.
Kubica, Ye and Shwartzman combined for overall victory in this year’s Lone Star Le Mans at Circuit of The Americas.
“I am very happy to be able to continue this experience with AF Corse at the wheel of the Ferrari 499P,” said Kubica. “When we started the project of car number 83 everything was new.
“Today we find ourselves with 12 months of hard work behind us, a lot of experiences both positive and negative that we will use to improve and to face the FIA WEC 2025.
“It will definitely be a very challenging season, but with the experience we have gained this year we are confident that we can do a better job. See you in 2025.”
