Fast Track Racing is set to make its GT3 debut in this weekend’s GT America powered by AWS races at Circuit of The Americas with a BMW M4 GT3 entered for J.R. Roberts.

It will mark the Toby Grahovec-led team’s foray into GT3 competition after being longtime GT4 and TC America entrants in SRO America competition, previously under the Classic BMW banner.

J.R., also known as John, will take part in the pair of 40-minute races this weekend in the SRO3 class with his son, Nick, set to pilot a BMW M2 CS Cup machine in TC America powered by Skip Barber Racing School action.

The Texas-based team is fielding a total of three BMWs this weekend at COTA, including Judson Holt and Denny Stripling in the No. 188 BMW M4 GT4 for Saturday’s inaugural GT4 America enduro.

“We are very pleased to field three strong BMW sports cars this weekend at COTA,” said Grahovec.

“It’s always great to be back and compete at a legendary track like COTA, and we have prepared excellent cars for Judson, Denny, J.R. and Nick.

“We have been in victory lane at COTA in previous years and we hope to put our our BMWs back there again. We’re excited for this weekend.”
