New entries from HP TECH Motorsport and RS1 highlight an expanded grid for GT America powered by AWS, which will again be contested exclusively of GT3-spec SRO3 class machinery this weekend at Barber Motorsports Park.
A total of nine cars are on the entry list for Rounds 13 and 14, including championship leader Justin Rothberg of Turner Motorsport, who holds a 25-point advantage over second-placed GMG Racing ace Kyle Washington.
Ross Chouest, who scored his breakthrough first victory in GT3 machinery last time out at Road America, has moved into third in the standings, ahead of SKI Autosports’ Memo Gidley, who has slipped to fourth.
In addition to the returning Jason Bell (Racers Edge Motorsports Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo), Farhan Siddiqi (FASTMD Racing with Remstar Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II) and Blake McDonald (DXDT Racing Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R), there will be two new cars in action.
Tony Davis is set to get a jump start on his recently announced 2026 GT America campaign with HP TECH’s Ferrari 296 GT3, while Joel Cortes is entered in a RS1 Type-992 Porsche 911 GT3 R.
GTA competitors will have the chance to take part in two test sessions on Thursday, followed by opening practice later that day at 3:25 p.m. CST. Practice 2 is on tap for Friday at 8:25 a.m.
Race 1, meanwhile, is set to go green Saturday at 11:55 a.m. and Race 2 on Sunday at 9:05 a.m., with both 40-minute sprints to be broadcast live on SRO’s GT World YouTube channel and on Twitch.
