George Kurtz continued his form in GT America powered by AWS, having led the way in the second and final practice session of the day at Sebring International Raceway.

Kurtz, in the No. 04 CrowdStrike by Riley Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo, recorded a best time of 2:02.947 in the heat of the day at the Florida airfield circuit.

While it was not an improvement on his pace-setting time from the morning session, it was still three-tenths quicker than second-placed Justin Rothberg.

Rothberg, in his first season of GT3 competition, recorded a best time of 2:03.256 in his No. 29 Turner Motorsport BMW M4 GT3.

Kyle Washington was third quickest in his Type-991.2 Porsche 911 GT3 R fielded by GMG Racing, with points leader Jason Daskalos and Sebring all-time winner Johnny O’Connell completing the top-five for CRP Racing and SKI Autosports, respectively.

The session saw a red flag in the final ten minutes for an accident by Washington in Turn 1.

Isaac Sherman regained the top spot in the GT4 class, ahead of opening practice pace-setter Curt Swearingin.

Sherman’s No. 098 Rotek Racing Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport was four-tenths quicker than the ACI Motorsports team owner/driver.

Alan Grossberg, meanwhile, led the way in GT2 in his TPC Racing Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2, as the only class entrant this weekend.

Qualifying is on tap for Saturday morning at 8 a.m. EDT, with Race 1 taking the green flag at 12:55 p.m. later that day, with live coverage on SRO’s GT World YouTube page and on Twitch.
