Blake McDonald remained on top in GT America powered by AWS practice, pacing the second and final practice session prior to qualifying for this weekend’s pair of 40-minute races.
McDonald, in the No. 11 DXDT Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R, reeled off a best lap of 2:05.672 in the 30-minute session to outpace the second-placed No. 56 SKI Autosports Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II of Memo Gidley by 1.205 seconds.
Kyle Washington was credited with the third quickest time but stopped on track in the run-up to Canada Corner with less than five minutes to go, resulting in a session-ending red flag.
Justin Rothberg and Ross Chouest completed the top-five for Turner Motorsport and Chouest Povoledo Racing, respectively.
