A bumper 41-car grid is set for this weekend’s pair of Pirelli GT4 America races at NOLA Motorsports Park, including numerous additions to the Am class and several debuting drivers.

The 2.75-mile, 16-turn circuit near New Orleans will play host to Rounds 3 and 4 of the season,  following the two 60-minute races that kicked off the season earlier this month at Sonoma Raceway.

Among the additions include a third Nolasport Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport for the Am class pairing of David Peterman and Lee Carpentier.

Additional Am entries from Extreme Velocity Motorsports (Porsche) for Matt Joffe and Grant Maiman and Krugspeed (Toyota GR Supra GT4) with Anthony Geraci and Jaden Lander brings the category car count to 20 entries.

Joey DaSilva is set for his first GT4 America start of the season in the No. 67 Smooge Racing Toyota after missing the Sonoma weekend due to a hand injury sustained off-track.

Additionally, Will Owen, who was initially due to take part in the Sonoma event in the No. 95 OGH/Valkyrie Velocity Porsche alongside Rob Ferriol, is listed in the car for this weekend.

Following a sweep of the Silver class poles and wins at Sonoma, Conquest Racing/JMF Motorsport drivers Michai Stephens and Jesse Webb head in as points leaders in the category in their Mercedes-AMG GT4, while Ross Chouest and Aaron Povoledo lead the Pro-Am standings in their Aston Martin Vantage GT4.

Terry Borcheller and Nicholas Shanny, who took a surprise overall win in Race 2 at Sonoma, meanwhile, lead the Am class standings in their No. 20 Carrus Callas Raceteam Toyota.

Official on-track action begins with two practice sessions on Friday, followed by qualifying on Saturday morning and Race 1 later in the day. The second and final GT4 America race of the weekend takes place Sunday morning, with both races to be streamed live on SRO’s GT World YouTube page.
