Koch Puts Random Vandals Quickest in Practice 1 at VIR

Kenton Koch was quickest in the first Pirelli GT4 America practice session of the weekend at Virginia International Raceway.

The Random Vandals Racing driver took his No. 92 BMW M4 GT4 to a best lap of 1:53.977, outpacing the fellow Silver class No. 88 STR38 Motorsports BMW of Harry Gottsacker by three-tenths.

Parker Thompson ended up third quickest in the No. 999 Hanley Motorsports Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO, followed by the Pro-Am class pace-setting No. 82 BimmerWorld BMW of Tyler McQuarrie.

The No. 52 Auto Technic Racing BMW of John Capestro Dubets, meanwhile, completed the top-five.

STR38’s No. 438 BMW, which set the sixth quickest time, meanwhile, led the Am class.

Practice 2 is on tap for 5:15 p.m. EDT.
