Vesko Kozarov and Gregory Liefooghe have scored poles for this weekend’s Pirelli GT4 America SprintX/West season-ending races at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Kozarov will start Saturday’s 60-minute race from the top spot, thanks tot a 1:41.095 lap time set in his No. 91 Rearden Racing Audi R8 LMS GT4.
The GT4 West Am competitor edged out the No. 36 Andretti Autosport McLaren 570S GT4 of Colin Mullan by 0.415 seconds.
Mullan claimed top pole honors in GT4 SprintX Pro-Am, while James Sofronas, who was third quickest overall, will start from the GT4 SprintX Am pole in his No. 2 GMG Racing Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport.
GT4 SprintX Pro-Am title contender Matt Travis was fourth in the No. 47 Nolasport Porsche, while newly clinched GT4 SprintX Am champion Mattt Keegan will roll off from fifth overall on the grid.
The No. 28 ST Racing BMW M4 GT4 of Jon Miller, meanwhile, grabbed GT4 West Pro-Am class pole honors with the sixth quickest time overall.
SprintX Leader Liefooghe on Pole for Race 2
GT4 SprintX Pro-Am championship leader Liefooghe will lead the field to the green in Race 2, having recorded a 1:40.995 lap time in his No. 19 Stephen Cameron Racing BMW he shares with Sean Quinlan.
Guy Cosmo made a late-session charge to start second in the No. 89 RENNtech Mercedes-AMG GT4, ahead of the GT4 West Pro-Am class pole-sitting No. 28 ST Racing BMW of Harry Gottsacker.
Jason Hart will start fourth overall and third in GT4 SprintX Pro-Am, while Jeff Burton was the quickest of the GT4 West Am competitors, in 8th overall.
Race 1 for GT4 SprintX/West is set to get underway Saturday at 5 p.m. PT, with Race 2 on Sunday at 11:10 a.m., both streamed on the series’ official website.
