Audi Sport factory drivers Christopher Haase and Mattia Drudi are among the drivers involved in Team Tresor by Car Collection’s Pro-class entry for the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS season.
Haase and Drudi will team up with FIA Formula 2 race winner Luca Ghiotto in the GTWC Europe Endurance Cup, while Tresor will field a pair of Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo IIs in the Sprint Cup series.
For Sprint, Haase will partner 2020 Silver class champion Simon Gachet in the No. 11 Audi, with the Italian duo of Ghiotto and Drudi teaming up in the sister No. 12 car.
Tresor by Car Collection has already announced a Silver entry in Endurance Cup for the first season in GTWC Europe for the new partnership.
Haase and Drudi worked with different Audi Sport customer teams last year, with Haase driving for Sainteloc Racing and Drudi representing Attempto Racing.
Former Sainteloc GT3 driver Gachet is returning to Audi machinery after a season with Mercedes-AMG squad AKKA-ASP in 2021.
Ghiotto, meanwhile, made his series debut at the Nürburgring where he joined Emil Frey Racing to stand in for an injured Jack Aitken.
“I’m really happy and excited to start this new adventure with this new team, it’s going to be an intense season at the highest GT3 level,” Ghiotto commented.
“[I] couldn’t have asked for better teammates than Mattia and Haase, for sure I’ll learn a lot from them. [They] are experts of the championship and of the Audi R8 as well.
“Can’t wait for the season to start. A special thanks for Ferdinando Geri and all the people in Tresor by Car Collection for the warm welcome received.”
Drudi added: “I’m really excited to jump in this new project. We’re working hard during the preseason period to be fully prepared for Imola and all the races afterwards.
“With such experienced and fast teammates like Christopher and Luca, for sure we can aim to fight for top results in both Endurance and Sprint series.
“Looking forward to kicking off this season with the new Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II that for sure will help us to perform even more.”
