Marvin Kirchhofer will replace Jonny Adam in Garage 59’s Pro-Am class entry for this weekend’s TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa.
The 27-year-old German, who has previous Aston Martin Vantage GT3 experience with R-Motorsport, has been drafted into the No. 188 lineup after Aston Martin factory driver Adam tested positive for COVID-19 last week.
Adam was replaced by Ross Gunn in the recent British GT Championship race at Spa, although Gunn forms part of the Garage 59’s all-factory Pro lineup for the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Endurance Cup and Intercontinental GT Challenge powered by Pirelli round.
Kirchhofer will share driving duties with Alexander West, Chris Goodwin and Charlie Eastwood.
West and Goodwin currently lead the Pro-Am standings entering the Spa weekend, where Garage 59 will field a total of three Aston Martins between its Pro, Silver and Pro-Am class entries.
