The BMW M4 GT3 has been given a weight break by SRO Motorsports Group ahead of qualifying for Sunday’s Repco Bathurst 12 Hour, as part of a series of Balance of Performance adjustments issued on Saturday.

The BMWs, fielded by Team WRT, have received a 10 kg reduction in minimum weight, while the Type-992 Porsche 911 GT3 R has been handed 10 kg of additional weight.

While no performance adjustments have been made to the Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo or Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II, the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2 has a 1 mm larger air restrictor, which will give it slightly more power.

Fuel capacities, meanwhile, have been adjusted to four GT3 models, with the Mercedes-AMG, Type-992 Porsche and BMW all losing 2 liters, while the Type-991.2 Porsche 911 GT3 R has a 1-liter reduction compared to the initial BoP table that was issued on Feb. 10.

The changes were communicated to teams at 11:32 a.m. local time, prior to qualifying for the Intercontinental GT Challenge season opener.
