Andretti Set for Return to GT4 Sprint, SprintX

Jarett Andretti is set to return to Pirelli GT4 America competition in both the Sprint and SprintX series this year with McLaren 570S GT4 machinery.

The Andretti Autosport-run program was confirmed on Tuesday with the announcement that auto warrantee company Endurance will continue as the primary sponsor for Andretti’s Sprint program.

Andretti’s first overall GT4 win came in Endurance colors last year.

“It is great to have such a trusted brand back for a second year of Pirelli GT4 America racing,” said Jarett Andretti.

“Last year was a great first year for our team and Endurance’s first venture into motorsports. We are looking forward to building upon that for 2020 and beyond!”

Andretti’s co-driver for the two-driver SprintX championship has yet to be announced.

He shared the wheel in the first half of the season with Compass Racing’s Karl Thomson, prior to Colin Mullan and David Donohue for the season-ending round at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Both the GT4 Sprint and SprintX seasons kick off at Circuit of The Americas next month.
