Mario Farnbacher led the way in opening Fanatec GT World Challenge America powered by AWS practice at Sebring International Raceway.
The Racers Edge Motorsports driver reeled off a best lap of 1:59.626 in his No. 93 Acura NSX GT3 Evo22 to edge Pro-Am class pace-setter Neil Verhagen by 0.079 seconds.
Verhagen’s No. 38 ST Racing BMW M4 GT3 was second overall, followed by the No. 04 CrowdStrike by Riley Mercecedes-AMG GT3 Evo of Colin Braun.
Ryan Dalziel and Madison Snow completed the top-five overall for Triarsi Competizione and Wright Motorsports, respectively, followed by the No. 53 MDK Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R of Seth Lucas in sixth.
A red flag for the No. 28 RS1 Porsche of Eric Filgueiras, which stopped on track, was the only notable incident in the 60-minute session.
