Kellymoss will expand into GT World Challenge America powered by AWS, with the championship-winning squad confirming a three-car Porsche 911 GT3 R entry featuring Colin Braun plus former Porsche Carrera Cup North America champions Riley Dickinson and Loek Hartog as its pro drivers.
Confirmed on Tuesday, the Madison, Wis.-based operation will re-enter GT3 competition for the first time since 2024 when it ran a partial IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship campaign supported by Riley.
That partnership will continue with the new program, unrelated to Riley’s previously announced BMW M4 GT3 EVO effort for Slade Stewart and Andy Lee.
Braun, a longtime Riley driver who competes in the IMSA GTP ranks for Acura Meyer Shank Racing, will team up with former Porsche Sprint Challenge Endurance Challenge North America champion Michael Clark in the No. 017 Porsche.
“I’m really looking forward to kicking off the SRO America season with Kellymoss and Michael,” said Braun. “Having driven for Bill Riley for many years in SRO, this feels a lot like home in many ways.
“What Andy [Kilcoyne, Kellymoss team co-owner] has built is very impressive and I’m looking forward to delivering continued success.”
2023 Carrera Cup North America champion Dickinson, meanwhile, is set to partner with Kellymoss driver Todd Parriott, who also comes from the Carrera Cup ranks, in the No. 13 Porsche.
“I’m extremely excited to start this new chapter in my career, but also for Kellymoss in GT World Challenge America competition,” said Dickinson.
“We have a great team assembled to take on this championship and put our best foot forward from the very start of this campaign.
“I’m looking forward to working with Todd Parriott this season as well. He has shown tremendous growth over the years, cutting his teeth in the Porsche GT3 Cup machinery, and he has proven that he is ready to make the step up.
“The SRO platform has proven to be a great place for both GT3 and GT4 competition in America.”
Fellow former Porsche Motorsport North America Selected Driver Hartog, who won the 2024 Carrera Cup North America title, will steer the No. 88 Porsche with reigning Porsche Endurance Challenge class champion John Gilliland.
“I’m really excited to be back with my Kellymoss family after an incredibly successful effort with them in Porsche Carrera Cup North America in 2024,” said Hartog.
“This season, I’m stepping up to GT3 with them, a category where I’ve gained a lot of experience over the past two years.
“With more than 30 GT3 race weekends behind me, I’m looking forward to bringing everything I’ve learned into the team and partnering with John as he begins his first year in GT3 competition.
“I have a lot of trust in him and in the entire Kellymoss group, and I’m excited about racing in the new GT World Challenge America format.”
The confirmed three-car GTWC America effort comes after a target for an all-Female-driven Porsche, earmarked for Ashley Freiberg and Loni Unser, is believed to have fallen through.
The new-look season, featuring single three-hour races, kicks off at Sonoma Raceway on March 27-29.
