Scout Weekend Returns to Road America

Road America will welcome a weekend filled with high-speed GT racing action, family fun, and tailor-made activities for young adventurers.

During the SRO America event, the Wisconsin road course is hosting its popular Scout Weekend, offering Scouts and their families a chance to experience world-class motorsport up close, including plenty of extra activities designed just for them.

From Aug. 15-17, more than 200 scouts and their family members are expected to roll in for a weekend of camping, racing, and memories in the making.

Scout Weekend at Road America blends the excitement of sports car racing with classic outdoor camping, giving participants the chance to sleep under the stars and wake up to the sounds of roaring engines echoing through the land.

Each Scout Weekend ticket includes:

*Camping Friday and Saturday night in a dedicated Scout camping area.
*Admission to all of the weekend’s SRO America races, including the feature GT World Challenge America powered by AWS, GT America powered by AWS, Pirelli GT4 America, Toyota GR Cup North America, TC America powered by Skip Barber Racing School, and McLaren Trophy America.
*Paddock and pre-race grid access, where Scouts can see the race cars up close and meet drivers.
*A commemorative Scout Weekend patch, exclusive to participants.
*Access to family-friendly activities throughout the weekend.

Road America has packed the weekend with engaging activities tailored for Scouts:

*Scout Track Walk/Bike: Scouts and their families can explore the legendary 4.048-mile track by foot or bicycle, giving them a rare opportunity to see the course from a driver’s-eye view.
*Movie Night at Turn 5: Settle in for an outdoor family movie at the jumbo screen near Turn 5, a favorite gathering spot for campers and spectators.
*Driver Autograph Sessions: Meet the drivers behind the machines, collect autographs, and snap some photos.
*Paddock Access: Explore the race paddock throughout the weekend to watch teams prepare their cars, learn about the sport, and feel the energy behind the scenes.
