An entry list for next month’s Fuji round of the GT World Challenge Asia powered by AWS has been released, with the return of the Absolute Corse Ferrari 296 GT3 bumping up the field to 32 cars for the series’ first visit of the year to Japan.

Released on Thursday, the 32-car entry forms part of a wider 57-car gathering for the SRO GT PowerTour event on July 11-13, which also includes a 25-car Japan Cup field.

Two cars return to the field after skipping the previous round at Buriram: the No. 18 Porsche Center Okazaki car of Hiroaki Nagai and Kazuto Kotaka, and the No. 98 Absolute Corse entry that has DTM regular Thierry Vermeulen as part of its lineup.

Vermeulen will have a new teammate in the form of veteran Bronze-rated driver Hiro Hamaguchi, who replaces Anderson Tanoto in the car.

Elsewhere, Origine Motorsport continues its driver rotation in the No. 4 Porsche 911 GT3 R as Alessio Picariello returns for his second outing of the year.

Sun Jing Zu is set for his first appearance of the season in the No. 13 Phantom Global Porsche together with Adderly Fong.

The No. 19 Absolute Corse Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2 has a refreshed lineup as Vincenzo Ricci joins Loris Spinelli, who continues to deputize for Edoardo Mortara amid a clash with Formula E’s Berlin round.

Factory Mercedes-AMG driver Jayden Ojeda returns to action for Craft-Bamboo Racing aboard the No. 31 Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo, but the sister No. 77 Silver Cup-entered machine still has a TBA listed next to Liang Jiatong.

Points leader Prince Jefri Ibrahim is partnered by Ben Green for the third round in succession in the No. 99 JMR Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R as Alexander Sims faces another IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship clash.

In Japan Cup, the 25-car grid is headlined by 15 GT3s, of which 10 are competing for overall honors in the Pro-Am class, with the No. 935 Galah Racing Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 making its first outing of the season having skipped last week’s Sugo opener.

In the Am division, Nissan squads Team Daishin with GTNet and Art Taste with JMS Racing are also in action for the first time in 2025, for a total of five cars in class.

Six GTC Porsches, including Jake Parsons’ new AWD Racing squad, and a quartet of GT4 machines, up one from Sugo as the No. 15 Destino with Sunrise BLVD Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport joins the field, complete the entry list.
