Porsche Center Okazaki has finalized its two-car lineup for the upcoming GT World Challenge Asia powered by AWS season.
For the third consecutive season, the ARN-run team will field a two-car effort in the six-round series that begins next weekend at Sepang, while upgrading to the latest Porsche 911 GT3 R Evo for both the Pro-Am No. 18 car and the Silver-Am No. 25.
Gentleman driver Hiroaki Nagai will share the No. 18 Porsche with SUPER GT racer Kazuto Kotaka, who is unavailable for the second round at Mandalika in early May owing to a clash with the Japanese championship’s Fuji Golden Week fixture.
As such, Yuichi Nakayama will stand in for Kotaka for the Mandalika round.
Nakayama has accrued GT3 experience in multiple series since losing his SARD Toyota GT500 seat at the end of 2024, including in cameo outings for the Akkodis ASP Lexus team in the FIA World Endurance Championship.
Meanwhile, the No. 25 NK Racing-backed car will be shared by an unchanged lineup Tsuyoshi Uchiyama and Tsubasa Kondo.
Uchiyama finished sixth in Silver-Am last year despite skipping the season finale in Beijing, scoring class podiums at both Sepang and Buriram.
