Ahmad Al Harthy will return to GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Endurance Cup competition this year following his exit from the FIA World Endurance Championship, joining forces with BMW outfit Century Motorsport.
The Omani driver will share a Bronze Cup-entered BMW M4 GT3 EVO with Calan Williams and Javier Sagrera on his comeback to the series, having last raced there in 2024 in a Team WRT-run car under the ‘OQ by Oman Racing’ banner.
It follows Al Harthy’s departure from the WRT LMGT3 effort in the WEC that he has been part of the past two seasons.
“I am absolutely delighted to be returning to the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup with Oman Racing by Century Motorsport,” said Al Harthy.
“It’s a championship that has played a significant role in my career over many years, and I’m very excited to be sharing the car this season with Javier and Calan.
“This will also mark my first opportunity to work with Century Motorsport, a team I have followed closely and respected for a long time.
“Together, we are fully focused on pushing hard and delivering our very best in what promises to be an incredibly competitive and exciting season ahead.”
Williams also makes his return to GTWC Europe after a year on the sidelines, having won the Gold Cup division in the Sprint Cup in 2023 for WRT and the Silver Cup last year.
Spanish driver Sagrera, meanwhile moves over from single-seaters having finished as runner-up in Eurocup-3 in 2024. Last year, he made selected appearances in FIA Formula 3 and the Formula Regional European Championship.
Century’s fourth driver for the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa will be announced later.
