Title-winning GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS squad Rutronik Racing has firmed up the lineup for its Bronze Cup Porsche 911 GT3 R Evo entry, which will run alongside the German squad’s new Lamborghini Temerario GT3 Pro effort.

Porsche-contracted driver Sven Mueller, who claimed the Endurance Cup Pro class title alongside Patric Niederhauser and Alessio Picariello, will spearhead the team’s solo Porsche entry in the series.

Mueller will be joined by Endurance Cup class runner-up Antares Au and reigning FIA World Endurance Championship LMGT3 title winner Riccardo Pera in the No. 97 entry.

Pera replaces former Porsche Motorsport North America Selected Driver Loek Hartog in the lineup due to the Dutchman’s elevated FIA Gold-rated status.

“I would like to express my sincere thanks to Porsche and Lamborghini for their cooperative collaboration, which makes this possible within the Rutronik Racing team,” said team boss Klaus Graf.

“The continuation of our collaboration with Sven Mueller, who has enjoyed great success with Rutronik Racing over the past two years, will certainly be a great added value. I am particularly pleased that he will be supporting Antares in the races this year.

“We narrowly missed out on the Bronze Cup title last year and would like to build on last year’s successes this year.”
