Audi and Porsche have been given additional weight in a pre-race Balance of Performance change ahead of the Total 24 Hours of Spa.
The changes, issued three-and-a-half hours ahead of the race start, include a 15 kg increase for the Audi R8 LMS GT3 and 5 kg for teams running the Porsche 911 GT3 R.
The highest-placed Audi on the grid is the No. 2 factory-backed WRT car, which will start from second, after the Belgian team lost pole with its No. 1 car earlier in the day.
The Dries Vanthoor, Christopher Mies and Alex Riberas-driven car will also have to serve a three-minute stop-and-hold penalty during the race.
No changes were made to the Audi between the Paul Ricard 1000 km and this weekend’s initial BoP, while the Porsche had been given a 5 kg weight break and 1.5 mm reduced air restrictor.
No other adjustments have been made ahead of the race, which gets underway at 4:30 p.m. local time.
The SRO has made BoP changes during several Blancpain GT Series weekends this year, including the most recent Endurance Cup round at Circuit Paul Ricard.
