After months of speculation regarding their driver line-up for the Blancpain Endurance Series, M-Sport Bentley announced today the names of the six drivers who will race the two Continental GT3 race cars.
Having debuted the car in the Gulf 12 Hours in Abu Dhabi last year, Guy Smith, Steven Kane and Andy Meyrick will continue to race together this season in the team’s first Continental GT3.
The second car will feature a European line-up with British driver Duncan Tappy, French driver Antoine Leclerc and former Marussia Virgin Racing F1 driver Jérôme D’Ambrosio.
“Our six modern day Bentley Boys give me great confidence for the year ahead. The selection process has been tough after having had so much interest, but these six racers have shown the prodigious talent combined with the experienced, dedicated approach that we need,” Bentley’s Director of Motorsport Brian Gush said.
“The whole team is now in final preparations for the season ahead, and we’re all extremely eager to get to Monza so that the real racing can begin.”
