Marvin Dienst set the quickest time for Dinamic GT in the Night Practice session for the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa.

Dienst, piloting the No. 54 Porsche 911 GT3 R, reeled off a 2:16.287 in the closing minutes of the 90-minute session, which served as the conclusion of the opening day of track running for the event.

In the process, he jumped ahead of the No. 9 Boutsen VDS Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo of Maximilian Goetz by 0.244 seconds, with Dennis Lind third aboard the No. 28 HAAS RT Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II.

Lind caused a red flag in the dying seconds of the session when he hit the barrier at Fagnes, marking the second time a driver brought the session to a halt after going off at that corner.

Adam Eteki had a similar incident aboard the No. 111 CSA Racing Audi with 22 minutes remaining, which occurred not long after he had taken fourth overall.

Dienst’s improvement meant Eteki dropped back down to fifth place, behind the No. 66 Tresor Attempto Racing entry of Aleksei Nesov.

Thomas Preining took sixth in the No.23 Phantom Global Racing Porsche, ahead of the No. 163 GRT Grasser Racing Team Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2.

The top ten was rounded out by the No. 48 Mercedes-AMG Team Mann-Filter machine, the No. 74 Kessel Racing Ferrari 296 GT3 and the No. 92 SSR Herberth Porsche.

Track action for the 24H Spa continues with Superpole at 3:45 p.m. CEST (9:45 a.m. EDT).

RESULTS: Night Practice
