Reigning GT4 European Series Silver Cup champion Roee Meyuhas will make the step up to GT3 this year as a member of the Boutsen VDS Racing Audi squad.
The 22-year-old American is one of five drivers so far confirmed to represent the two-car Boutsen VDS program in Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS.
Meyuas and Erwan Bastard won an elusive title double in GT4 Europe and FFSA French GT last year, sharing a Sainteloc Racing Audi R8 LMS GT4.
Both drivers are graduating to GT3 machinery following that successful campaign, with Bastard set to remain with Sainteloc and Meyuhas switching to a different outfit.
French youngsters Adam Eteki and Cesar Gazeau have also been named in the Boutsen VDS driving squad, along with Alberto di Folco and Aurelien Panis who were confirmed when the project was announced in November.
Eteki drove the Boutsen-run Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II last season while Gazeau joins from Sainteloc.
Meyuhas is due to compete in the Endurance Cup only, while Eteki and Gazeau are racing in both Endurance and Sprint.
“I cannot wait to start this next chapter in my career in the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Endurance and I am flattered to have been selected by a professional team such as Boutsen VDS,” he said.
Marc VDS, the 2015 winner of the 24 Hours of Spa with BMW, is returning to motorsport this year in partnership with the experienced GTWC Europe team Boutsen.
