Pasin Lathouras will take part in Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup for a second consecutive year, once again driving a AF Corse Ferrari 488 GT3 in the Pro Cup.
The driver lineup will go into the season unchanged, as the 23-year-old Thai will continue to be paired with Michele Rugolo and Alessandro Pier Guidi, offering Lathouras a familiar platform to build on.
It will mark Lathouras’ fourth racing in Europe, having contested the British GT Championship (2014), International GT Open (2015) and Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup (2016).
Highlights of those three years include winning the Total 24 Hours of Spa in Pro-Am in 2015 (fourth overall) and only narrowly missing out on the overall win in Paul Ricard 1000km last year.
“I think we have a good year of gelling with the new car behind us and we are well positioned to push for the podium,” said Lathouras.
“I’ve spent my whole sportscar career with AF Corse and they have really helped me come on as a driver. Michele and Alessandro drove superbly last year so I think we should be fast out of the blocks.”
It is the second Ferrari 488 GT3 being entered in the Pro Cup, following the confirmation of the Kaspersky Motorsport entry.
Furthermore, Kessel Racing announced its first complete lineup for the Endurance Cup, with reigning Am Cup drivers champion Marco Zanuttini teaming up with David Perel and Jacques Duyver in the Am Cup.
