Marsh Racing announced Friday its driver lineup for the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship season-opening Rolex 24 at Daytona.
Eric Curran and Boris Said, the team’s season-long drivers for its new Corvette DP, will be joined by road racing veteran Max Papis and 2013 Sunoco Daytona Challenge winner Bradley Smith for the around-the-clock endurance classic later this month.
All four drivers turned laps in the Prototype contender at the Roar Before the Rolex 24 last week.
“I was very impressed from every one here at the Whelen Team,” Papis said. “I Feel that it’s going to be a blast. With people like Eric, Boris and the new coming Bradley as well, were going to have a strong line up.”
Smith, who makes his North American racing debut: “It’s fantastic to be here in Daytona considering it is only my third year in car racing. It has been good for me to get some experience here in order to get used to the car itself as well as the circuit.”
