Take a look inside Corvette Racing’s collision avoidance system on its new Corvette C7.R.
Developed in conjunction with Bosch Motorsports and Pratt & Miller Engineering, the radar-based system detects upcoming traffic through a rear camera system and is displayed in graphics.
While having been designed for the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2013 with the Corvette C6.R, the system was further optimized for this year and recently debuted in the Bathurst 12 Hour in the factory Fiat Abarths.
A production version of the system is now available to teams for use in all cars.
