Montreal Motorsport Group has finalized the driver lineup for its single Honda Civic Type R FL5 TCR entry for next year’s IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge season.

The Canadian squad will feature the new full season pairing of Karl Wittmer and LP Montour in the No. 93 entry, with DAI Yoshihara completing the lineup for the four-hour races at Daytona International Speedway and Mid-Ohio.

Benjamin Distaulo, Team Principal & Co-Owner, expressed his excitement about the new driver pairing and the team’s aspirations for 2025:

MMG will be looking to build on its fifth place finish in this year’s TCR championship standings, highlighted by a class win at Virginia International Raceway for Wittmer and .Yoshihara.

“HRC and JAS Motorsport’s incredible support in 2024 was a key factor in our success, and we look forward to continuing that growth and collaboration in 2025,” said team principal and co-owner Benjamin Distaulo.

“Our mutual goal is clear—an IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge Championship for Honda.

“With Karl’s incredible race craft, LP’s driving experience and DAI’s talent, we’re confident in our ability to challenge for the title. The FL5 chassis has proven to be exceptional, and we can’t wait to see what we can accomplish together next season.”

Unlike last season when it ran a two-car campaign, it’s believed the team will focus on a single full season entry.
