Photo evidence of Parker Chase’s narrow GTA class victory in Sunday’s Pirelli World Challenge round at Road America has surfaced, in one of the closest margins of victory in series’ history.
Chase edged out the No. 07 Squadra Corse Garage Italia Ferrari 488 GT3 of Martin Fuentes by 0.008 seconds at the line in the 50-minute Sprint race.
It marked 17-year-old Chase’s second class win of the season in the No. 19 TruSpeed Autosport Audi R8 LMS he shares with Ryan Dalziel for the SprintX races.
The pair of GTA class contenders finished seventh and eighth in Race 2, which was won by the No. 24 Alegra Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R of Michael Christensen.
