The Blancpain Sprint Series will once again feature a 19-car grid as it heads to Brands Hatch for the second round of the season.
Triple Eight Racing joins the series for it’s home round, adding a third BMW Z4 GT3 to the field. With Joe Osborne and Lee Mowle at the wheel, the British GT front-runners will have a decent shot at the win in the Pro-Am category.

Meanwhile, the series also lost an entry with the Fach Auto Tech Porshce 997 GT3-R, bringing the total number of brands down from nine to eight.
Nogaro Main Race winners Maxime Martin and Dirk Müller won’t return to BMW Team Brasil, as the Antonio Hermann-led squad switches back to its regular roster of drivers.
With Caca Bueno and Sergio Jiminez scoring two podium finishes at the British track last year, the Brazilian team is looking to defend its points lead by adding further silverware to their collection.
Another one to watch will be the green Rinaldi Racing Ferrari of Marco Seefried and overall Blancpain GT Series points leader Norbert Siedler, while Laurens Vanthoor and Robin Frijns still have to open their account after the No. 1 WRT Audi sustained chassis damage during qualifying at Nogaro.
At GT Russian Team, Platinum-rated Estonian Marko Asmer replaces Christophe Bouchut on the No. 71 Mercedes SLS AMG GT3, while Bernd Schneider still shares the second SLS with Alexey Karachev.
The series will return to a two-day format this weekend, with practice and qualifying scheduled on Saturday, followed by both sprint races on Sunday.
