Webber Released from Hospital

Mark Webber has now been released from the hospital following his overnight stay in Sao Paulo, Porsche has confirmed Monday.

Webber was kept overnight for observation following his heavy accident in the FIA World Endurance Championship season-ending Six Hours of Sao Paulo. Matteo Cressoni, the other driver involved in the accident, has also been released.

He was diagnosed with some bruising and a concussion.

Webber’s now set to return to the U.K. later this week.
