Freddie Hunt will make the move to the GT4 European Series this season, joining Steven Liquorish in Brookspeed International Motorsport’s Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport MR for the Northern Cup.

Hunt, son of 1976 Formula 1 World Champion James Hunt, moves up from the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series to focus on the SRO’s new-look GT4 championship this season.

Liquorish meanwhile returns to Brookspeed having partnered Graeme Mundy en route to four Am class podium finishes last season.

Since the end of the GT4 European Series season, Brookspeed has competed in the Gulf 12 Hours in Abu Dhabi and the Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hours.

The cars returned to Europe on Sunday, in time for the GT4 European Series season-opener at Misano this weekend.
