Gunnar Jeannette will make his return to FIA World Endurance Championship competition, teaming up with PJ Hyett at Team Project 1 for the 8 Hours of Bahrain.

As shown on an updated entry list released on Wednesday, Jeannette and Hyett are set to partner with Ben Barnicoat aboard the No. 56 Porsche 911 RSR-19.

The American duo replace Brendan Iribe and Ollie Millroy, who had been co-drivers with Barnicoat for every round of the championship thus far.

Jeannette returns to the series for the first time since the inaugural Super Sebring event in 2019, where he raced a Ligier JS P217 Gibson with Larbre Competition.

He contested four rounds of the European Le Mans Series with JMW Motorsport in 2020 and teamed with Hyett in a Schnitzelalm Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo for the Michelin Le Mans Cup finale at Portimao a few weeks ago.

Hyett, meanwhile, is set to make his world championship debut. The Naperville, Ill. resident recently raced in the Porsche Carrera Cup North America presented by The Cayman Islands at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta.

Additionally, he partnered with Jeanette in the Fanatec GT World Challenge America powered by AWS round at Watkins Glen.

Elsewhere on the 37-car entry list, ELMS aces Richard Bradley and Mathias Beche have been named as co-drivers for Miro Konopka aboard ARC Bratislava’s No. 44 Oreca 07 Gibson.

The Slovakian squad returns to the LMP2 Pro/Am class for the Bahrain finale after skipping the previous round at Fuji.

In the five-car Hypercar class, new Peugeot signing Nico Mueller is listed alongside Loic Duval and Gustavo Menezes aboard the No. 94 Peugeot 9X8, with Renger van der Zande taking his place at Vector Sport as previously confirmed.
