While the 2015 FIA World Endurance Championship schedule has yet to be released, the date for the official pre-season test has been confirmed.

The FIA WEC Prologue will take place on March 27-28, 2015 at Paul Ricard, marking the third consecutive year the French circuit will play host to the globe-trotting sports car championship.

As was the case this year, it’s expected the two-day test will be mandatory for all teams, which will include the public debut of Nissan’s new LMP1 car, the GT-R LM NISMO.

No word has been given on when the complete 2015 calendar will be released, or if the season will feature a reduced schedule for a possible transition into a winter championship beginning in September.
