Magnus Racing has announced a return to the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup next year with an unchanged driver lineup at the wheel of the No. 44 Aston Martin Vantage GT3 in the GTD class.
John Potter, Andy Lally and Spencer Pumpelly will contest the four long-distance WeatherTech SportsCar Championship races, while the team’s fourth driver for the season-opening Rolex 24 at Daytona will be announced at a later date.
The 2023 season will mark Magnus’ 13th year in racing and second consecutive with the British manufacturer.
“I am just excited to back with Aston Martin and their engineering team,” said Potter.
“It’s great to have so many crew returning too. [It] will be a great Daytona to start the season and I just wonder if we will ever get a clean lap during the entire 24 with so many cars.”
Lally, who will be embarking on his tenth season with the team, added: “John has been a great teammate over the years, and we have had a lot of success together.
“I’m looking forward for running the Aston for a second season and building on what we learned in 2022.”
