ROWE Confirms N24 Driver Pairings; Double Duty for Farfus

ROWE Racing has named its exact driver pairings for its factory-backed, two-car effort in next month’s Nürburgring 24, with Augusto Farfus set to pull double duty across both cars.

The Hans Peter Naundorf-led squad named its full, seven-man squad for the Eifel endurance classic back in January, but at the time did not yet specify how the drivers would be spread across each of its two BMW M4 GT3s.

Confirmation of that came on Monday, along with the reveal that Augusto Farfus will be completing driving duties across both cars.

The Brazilian is looking to end a winless run at the event that has lasted for well over a decade, having taken his sole victory back in 2010.

Farfus will share the No. 98 BMW with Marco Wittmann, Maxime Martin and Raffaele Marciello, who is set for his first N24 appearance as a BMW factory driver.

In the No. 99 car, meanwhile, FIA World Endurance Championship Hypercar drivers Sheldon van der Linde, Dries Vanthoor and Robin Frijns will drive alongside Farfus.

Frijns and Vanthoor are the most recent drivers in ROWE’s stable to have won the event, driving together as part of Audi Sport Team Phoenix’s winning lineup in 2022 that also featured Fred Vervisch and Kelvin van der Linde.

The team itself is looking to return to winning ways for the first time since 2020, which also marks the last time BMW won the N24.

Since then, ROWE has finished on the overall podium in two out of the three most recent editions, finishing runner-up to Manthey Racing and Frikadelli Racing Team, respectively.
